We came in here on April 15th and purchased a new TV that we took home that day, and we purchased 2 TV mounts (about $245 total) and then paid $500 total ($250/ea) to have them installed. We were told that they would order the mounts to be shipped to the store, they would both be here by Thursday the 17th (they explicitly said that they would be expedited) and we arranged to have both installations done on the 17th. On the 16th, my husband received an email that one of the mounts had been delayed in shipping and would now arrive on the 18th. We were concerned but figured we would ask about it when they arrived on the 17th. It is now the 17th, guy calls husband to say he's 30 minutes out and husband explains our situation, to which he reveals there is no mount installation on the work order and he doesn't have it but he has some he can sell us. Which we said no to obviously since we had already purchased. The guy went back to the store and investigated a bit, and let us know that the mounts had actually been shipped to our home, not the store, which is why the guy didn't have them. (Still doesn't explain why it wasn't on the work order, even if they shipped to our home, we still paid to have them mounted). All in all, they said will now be installed on Saturday the 19th, so hopefully all will go smoothly then. I like this Best Buy location for purchasing items, we got seemingly good advice on TV mounts, but the communication seems to be a bit lacking among their internal departments. I will definitely use Thumbtack for the installation part next time, typically much cheaper and they're usually very quick and efficient.
