Best Buy Pleasant Hill

The staff was helpful but not pushy. In fact, I had to hunt down a sales associate, but that's the way I like it.

This review is for geek squad, specially as an authorized apple repair vendor. The technician who was to repair my phone broke another part during the fix (I get that accidents happen, this review is for how it was handled) and that part was going to take 3 days to arrive, meaning I would be without a phone for 3 days. I was in a situation solo parenting where I needed a phone and the only solution (which was our idea because they offered none) was to buy a new phone, transfer all my info, and then return that new phone and transfer all my info back, once my phone was repaired. I drove back and forth 5 times which equates to about 3 or so hours in the car. At one point I tried to call the store and there was literally no way to get in touch with a human and I kept getting hung up on by the automated service. Luckily, I had apple care but still had to pay a $99 labor fee. When I asked for some kind of refund the manager asked her manager who gave me a $20 gift card- in this day and age there is not much you can get at Best Buy for under $20. I understand that the people were doing their best that worked there but the higher ups and the faulty policies and system were inadequate. I would not go back there for service nor recommend it to anyone.

No one wanted to help. Had to ask for help on locating items in the store. The store had what I needed, but was difficult to get help. One person actually tried to walk away when we asked for help. I'll not return to this store.
