Probably best customer service at this BB..not busy not slow, clean and orderly

NEGATIVE STARS!! My husband and I purchased 3 appliances last week and scheduled the delivery the follow Saturday. we purchased a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The day before, my husband confirmed the delivery for the following morning. The next morning, after confirming delivery once again, we had our older appliances picked up because we gifted our older appliances to friends in need, leaving us without a stove or refrigerator. No big deal, right? Our Best Buy delivery is on its way. Well, 30 minutes prior to the scheduled AND confirmed delivery, we get notification that the delivery has been cancelled and was rescheduled for a week away!! Obviously, this is a big problem. Not ONCE did Best Buy apologize OR take ownership for this. The only thing we got was a, "Sorry for the inconvenience. There is nothing else we can do. It's the weekend and no one is working." Needless to say, we have to take matters in our own hands since Best Buy was not willing to fix their mistake because they viewed this simply as an "inconvenience". The ONLY solutions we were given were:
1) Cancel your order
2) Pick up the appliances yourselves; asking friends and family LAST MINUTE to help us (there was a reason why we pay for delivery)
3) Deal with the new delivery date; living without a stove or refrigerator for almost a week, HOPING Best Buy will actually deliver on the rescheduled date
WE picked up the appliances that same morning by asking family and friends for help on their Saturday LAST MINUTE. After paying for delivery and haul away. The customer service we received was below any corporation's standard. Had it not been for our friends, we would have been without a stove or refrigerator due to THEIR poor customer care and planning.
After this ordeal, we realized and remembered that this exact circumstance happened to us in May with our washer and dryer through Best Buy. We were able to cancel that order and wait another day for Lowe's to deliver the same set the FOLLOWING day!
Needless to say, we are DONE with working with Best Buy on any future purchases. We have been loyal customers for the past two decades; they have made it clear that they do not care about their customers. This was a $4,500.00 order. I would rather pay TWICE the amount to a company who can hold up their end of the deal with customer care and product satisfaction. Cancelling an order 30 minutes BEFORE CONFIRMED delivery is not going to work for me. To add insult to injury, they were the VERY opposite of understanding, accountable, or solution oriented.

What I needed wasn't on the shelf but a quick question to staff had it brought out from the back in a minute. Great service
