My rating is based on Best Buy‘s decision like many large corporations to have a centralized scheduling system for their geek squad services. You can never reach the store and you have to speak to somebody on the other side of the world in the store is only 7 miles away. I scheduled two geek squad appointments with them. Their person missed the appointment and as it turns out after two calls to their service center in another continent they had a 10 year-old address in another state. They never bothered to confirm it with me. You can’t just go into the store and speak to the person who will do your service call. It’s all managed through very inefficient AI chat bots very frustrating. User experience. I’ll try to use other services in the future.

Bought an OtterBox for my phone here and was told repeatedly by the sales associate that the OtterBox had a lifetime warranty and if for some reason there was something defective with it that I could bring it back in and they would replace it (it’s honestly the reason I bought the more expensive OtterBox instead of the cooler looking case that I was planning to get). So I finally brought the OtterBox back in because there was a (apparently known) defect in this particular otterBox model. I was informed that despite the case being less than six months old and this being a known defect of the product, that Bestbuy would not replace it. I was informed that the rep who sold me the OtterBox lied and that Best Buy would not be doing anything to make this right. I spent thousands of dollars every year at Best Buy on appliances and electronics and gifts and video games; so the fact that they would not make Right a lie that one of their own people told is all the reason I need to go to big Sandy’s and Amazon from now on. Best Buy is not the cheapest, but until today they had the best customer service.

Went for a tablet and they had a very limited selection. I still love Best Buy and frequent their store on the reg. Clean and friendly staff.
