Customer service is really good friendly staff
I needed the Geek Squad to transfer all the programs and information from my old computer to my new one. I was taken early for my appointment, and Caesar did an excellent job explaining how the process works and logging in both computers. Despite an estimate of 24 - 48 hours to complete the job, I received a text later in the day saying it was ready for pick-up. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Got my radio installed here, the process was seamless and it’s working great!
In general, I like Best Buy, but on this occasion, their customer service was poor. The battery in the laptop I purchased from Best Buy seems to be failing. So, I connected with online support as I paid for the Total Tech support. After a few chat questions, the tech confirmed that the battery should be replaced. He scheduled me for an appointment to drop off my laptop for battery replacement. When I drove 30 mins to Best Buy to drop it off, the tech told me that they do not have batteries in stock and that I would have to purchase one from the manufacturer and then bring the battery and the computer to them to swap the battery out. I asked why I was not told this by the online tech. His response was, "Sorry." Had I known this, I would not have driven 30 mins to and from the store for no reason. If I am paying for Total Tech support, Best Buy has to do better. Make sure the online support knows what the proper process is. Maybe allow your in-store tech support to order replacement parts for customers. I don't have to order my own brakes and take them to the mechanic to replace them on my vehicle. Come on....treat your customers well.
