if I could give 0 stars I would. My phone screen is cracked, I look into if I have any warranties, and I have a limited warranty with Apple. Not knowing if this would apply to my phone screen, and Best Buy being an authorized retailer, I call specifically the store i would going to because I wanted to speak with someone inside the store, not customer service. Call the store, get routed to customer service to a woman whose first language is not English. I explain I want to speak with someone in store, and I do not want her to help me as I want to feel assured I’m getting correct information. She tells me that my call will be rerouted to customer service anyways, and that she can answer my questions. She assured me my phone screen would be repaired under the limited warranty and that even though I do not have Apple Care +, the limited warranty would cover it and I would only pay $29. She makes me an appointment. I go to my appointment and am helped by a gentleman at the geek squad counter, who informs me smugly and condescendingly, that the warranty doesn’t cover the screen and it would be over $300 to repair and that I should reach out to my carrier to see if I have a warranty with them. Didn’t even bother explaining what the woman told me, as I knew this would get me no where and left. This is why I didn’t want to talk to someone overseas in customer service, because I knew this would be situation of misinformation, wasted time and gas, and the gentleman inside the store treated me as if I was dumb for thinking it would be covered. Will not ever shop here.
Best place friendly staff. I went to buy a TV and the team helped me to go the process smooth
The Samsung help person wasn't all that helpful today...I believe he was wanting a break or something
Austin was very helpful with questions and possible fixes.
