Tried to purchase an iPad mini that on Best Buys own app had an open box for this location for $55 cheaper than the price in the store. Exact same SKU and everything, when I went to purchase the iPad I was told by the manager they weren’t able to honor the price, even though their own website and app showed it for the lower price! I was told I would have to buy it on the app and wait up to an hour for in store pickup even though I’m standing right inside the store! The managers name is Jerimiah and he was so rude and unprofessional. I’ve worked for Best Buy in the past and how he has a job at this store more less a management role is beyond me. Do better Best Buy and do yourself a favor a go to another location, you’ll thank me later.
I was sent to this store since they had more Geek Squad appointment times available. The girl at the Geek Squad counter said in a rude tone, I don't know why they sent you over here we don't do anything with phones. I did know I was going to get a new one due to current phone not turning but wanted to see of they could get current phone started. That was the whole reason the Lewisville store sent me to Grapevine. I went to the AT&T rep and purchased a new phone. When I went back to the Geek Squad counter she again refused to start the phone and apply screen protector. I am a Best Buy total member and that is something that is included in the membership. On top of that when I went home and tried to set up my phone I discovered that the phone wasn't activated like the AT&T girl was supposed to do. You should definitely choose a Best Buy Location other than Grapevine.
