I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with the Geek Squad at this Best Buy location was unacceptable. My son’s laptop was under warranty and had a noticeable issue—it was broken and making loud noises. I scheduled an appointment, expecting professional service. Instead, I was met with rude and dismissive customer service from the very beginning.
The employee barely acknowledged our concerns and gave us minimal explanation other than, “We’ll ship it off. You’ll be contacted when it’s ready for pickup.” There was no empathy, no clarification of the process, and certainly no effort to make us feel like valued customers.
When we were finally contacted for pickup, the second interaction was just as bad—if not worse. The representative who assisted us was unprofessional, lacked basic communication skills, and seemed irritated that we had any questions at all.
This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with a warranty issue and a product purchased from their store. I will not return to this location, and frankly, after this experience, I’m hesitant to do business with Best Buy again.
I purchased an Apple Watch on Sunday and Leslie helped me. She was professional, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and just overall a kind and sweet young lady. Would highly recommend her if you shop at this store.
