Best Buy Knightdale

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly every time I come in here. The big problem i constantly run into is there aren't enough staff to service people who need help. That, and their selection of anything at all has dwindled severely unless you're here for a T.V. or a phone.

We used to love that store and shop there very often. Until today. The manager there just mistreated and humiliated my husband in front of my kids, age 5 and 8. They went to have a fun dad-kids day since they are out of school. My husband decided to buy our kids a gift and they asked for Pokemon cards at the store. Kids love Pokemon. Apparently, they are a hot item right now and there was a limit for 1 per customer. Ok, fair. My husband asked if he could have 2, one for each kid. They called the manager and he said no in a very bad mood. My husband asked, “why not? children are not customers? I can give them 10 bucks to buy the cards”. He kept aggressively saying no. My husband asked “why not? Please, one per kid. Why not?” Manager: “because I said so” in a very aggressive way. My husband argued with him for a while and he was very disrespectful. Since he had the kids with him and we avoid heated exchanges in front of them, my husband left the store and apparently the kids were scared, clueless about what happened and sad because they couldn’t buy a $5 each item. How do you treat a man in front of his two CHILDREN like this? You just lost customers that used to buy a lot of things in your store. This was today, June 19, 2025 in the morning. I’d never expect a manager to be so rude with a client.

Today we got a few new phone cases and screen protectors for our new phones. We had the guys in Geeksquad put the screen protectors on the phones and they did an excellent job. They were kind, quick and the screen protectors look perfect. When we were getting checked out, the girl that checked us out was fantastic as well. This store is run very well. Highly recommend and kudos to the leadership in this location.
