Best Buy Spring Valley

This store does not educate their employees at least in the cell phone department. I went in recently and asked about the “trade in any device for a new iPhone 16” promo. I asked multiple times both before and during the transaction if 1. My plan needed to change and 2. If there would be any charges for the new phones themselves if we’re trading in what we had, which I did specify and I was told no each time. I would just have to pay the activation fee and sales tax. After this was done I was then told a box should arrive in a few days to send the phones to Verizon. In the end there was no box so I went to a Verizon store for that portion. A few days go by and my first bill arrives with charges for the phones as though I’m paying them off monthly. Upon contacting customer service I was told I have to upgrade the plan on both our lines or pay for the phones monthly. So what was a supposedly painless transaction for new phones at nearly no charge is now costing me money I do not have and would not have done in the first place if this was explained to me at the time of purchase. I am a longtime customer of Best Buy and this makes me question how much longer I plan on doing that. If this is happening at this store where employees LIE to customers, how do I know it’s not happening elsewhere?

Very rude. Don't want to help at all . Walked the whole store twice without getting any help. So I left and won't be coming back. There was always a very nasty smell coming from one of your employees.. He was wearing a Geek Squad shirt with a beard. Do you teach your employees hygiene?

Bought a new Dryer and I go there often to shop the employees are nice and helpful

Not a welcoming place. The workers pick and choose who they want to help. Went there today saw workers but one said can I help you. I searched for what I needed, bought it and left. I will not be returning.
