Best Buy Martinsburg

Bought a few things here and it was fine, but I've had issues being denied price match by staff a few times even though it met their criteria. In my case it was an item sold and shipped by Amazon and was far cheaper than in store. They stated the deal was too good (crazy words to hear) and wouldn't honor it. I contacted best buy online and was able to pickup the item from the same store that denied me with a price matched online order. Outside of this issue it's your standard best buy.

This was my first time at a best buy in martinsburg. I plan to not go back to this location. I came in to get a Ipad. It was like I was rushed to get out. The boy grabbed the iPad, went straight to the counter for me to pay for it. I needed a case for it but I was so rushed I almost forgot I needed the case. He walks me back to the cases stands there watching my every move. It was a eerie feeling like I was a bother for coming in and did not want to deal with a customer. I had questions about a tetris Keychain game at the counter that I was interested in but I was treated like I was going to steal and run out the door. I just paid for the ipad and 2 other items becauase i felt like I shouldnt of been helped buying anything. I spent 400 bucks then walked back to the game area to look at what I wanted to buy because I want to get a PS5. He lingered around. I told my child we are leaving and will find some place else. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I have never been in a best buy like this. Usually they would offer a case. He knew nothing about the apple TV or apple music subscription that comes with the Ipad but it felt more like he did not care and just wanted us out.

Gave my pc to geeksquad as i couldnt figure out my sizing with my case and GPU, they told me i needed to get a different case or motherboard so i purchased a case and payed for the full pc build which was around $250. After a few months of questionable use, (including screen blackouts) i decided to take it apart and transfer my parts to a smaller case. As I’m currently trying to take it apart I’ve come to notice that there was WAY. too much thermal paste applied to my CPU as it was somewhat leaking out, and i tried to take the fan header out which… they must have JAMMED or (what feels like) welded my AIO cable into the fan header. As i went to examine it and wiggle it out (i had to use pliers) i noticed there was some parts close to the plug that was cut with some exposed wiring. Currently in progress of trying to fix this absolute mess that was made. Will provide cable management pictures too (which is atrocious and after i already tried to organize some of it) notes- build your own pc or go to microcenter which is like an hour away anyway…

Great store. Store representatives are a bit aggressive and sometimes don't even give you enough time to read product labels on one product before bothering you 3 times.
