Mackie in Geek Squad is awesome! He was able to figure out how to fix my phone so quickly after hours of other people trying at the cellular store. So relieved! Also everyone in the store was very friendly with great service!
Greetings at the front door upon arrival and offered assistance immediately. Fun electronics all about the store. Seemed modern and fresh. Was definitely busy when I was there. I can always easily get help at this location. It is my goto store for new computers.
I went to the Best Buy store to set up a business credit account (Business Advantage / Net-30) for my LLC. I clearly told the analyst that I did NOT want her to run my personal credit — I only wanted the business verification. Despite my explicit instructions, she did it anyway.
As a result, my credit score dropped 6 points immediately. This is completely unacceptable. Not only did she ignore my clear request, but she affected my personal credit without my consent.
I hope Best Buy trains its staff better and actually respects customer instructions. If you’re thinking about opening a business account here, be very careful — they may run your personal credit without permission.
I will not return to this store for any credit-related matters. Beware!
Ordered something online for pickup, only for the employee to ignore me twice and check out customers who came to check out after me.
Another customer and I walked in for order pickup at the same time. One of the employees didn’t have any customers so his busy coworker asked him to grab the online order for the other customer. I wait directly behind her since I also have an order pickup. He grabs her order and then calls over a customer who joined the check out line on the further end over while I’m standing right in front of the desk. It’s rude but I figured I’m overthinking it so I give the current customer space and continue to wait
. He processes this customers order and then moves over back to where he originally was and helps another customer that has just come up check out. He basically just ignored me twice. Eventually his coworker freed up and got my order for me. If there was some reason for why he could not help me with my order, he should’ve said so. I’ve been a BestBuy customer for a long time and I’ve never had such a negative experience in any of the stores I’ve been to.
