I am so frustrated with the Geek Squad at this location. I made an appointment the day before to get my screen on my iPhone fixed, that was at 7:40PM and said same day service. I drive 30 minutes to this location, arrive about 10 minutes before my appointment and am greeted by a young woman. She proceeds to ask if I have apple care and then tells me that she needs to take my phone in the back and see if she can get the serial number off of it. She comes back out a few moments later, tells me she was able to get the serial number and that they have the part that they need to fix it but unfortunately that service takes an hour and they don't fix this particular thing after 5:40. So I ask why I was able to make the appointment for 7:40 for same day service if this is not something that they can fix for me today? She tells me sorry, it's the system and she has no control over the system and their technicians left at 7. So was it that they don't take this type of appointment after 5:40? Or is it because it takes an hour? Or is it because the technician that can fix this problem left 20 minutes ago?
So I leave very frustrated and when I get to my car, my phone is no longer connecting to CarPlay and I'm not able to see my map to get home. Again, this location is 30 minutes from my home and I have no idea how to get back without my map and it was working right before I walked into the store so the only logical explanation is that she turned it off somehow. Possibly not on purpose, but it still got turned off somehow in the process of her getting the serial number. So I walk back inside and ask her about this and she tells me well the display is black and I can't see anything so theres no way that I could have turned it off. Yes, I know that my screen is black, that's why I am here. She then just says I'm sorry there's nothing I can do. I explain to her that I have no idea how to get home without my map and all she can do is tell me sorry, didn't offer any solutions whatsoever.
Horrible customer service, letting people make appointments that offer same day service and then making 5 different excuses as to why they can't perform that service. I'm very very frustrated with the entire experience and I will NEVER go back to that store.

This is a good best buy... Clean and organized yet under staffed. Took 20 minutes to get assistance yet when it came they were very helpful
