In a day and age of technology explosion and exploitation, Best Buy at Gateway Shopping Center in Austin remains an amazingly resourceful center for service and information. The Geek Squad group there is second to none because they take the time to explain things and honestly admit the constant nuisance of tech innovations that generally come with very little disclosure and integrity.

Kano is the worst employee. He was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I had an "Insignia" brand charger I bought while traveling. Not opened, not used, and within the 14-day return window. Lost my receipt and they couldn't look up an Apple Pay transaction at the register. He refused to offer any alternatives for the return, said "if it wasn't bought in this store there's nothing we can do", refused to page a manager for me, and suggested I come back at a later time. What poor customer service. Just unacceptable. Quite literally called the store 30m later and spoke with a manager myself who was able to offer a store credit (less taxes) without any issue at all. Best Buy does have a returns promise and the ability to do a no-receipt return apparently, which Kano refused to help with. So disappointed. Store management, please train your employees to treat customers better. What a horrible experience over a return for an item that cost less than $10 and was Best Buy brand.
