Best buy continues to lower the bar on expectations. I really wish you guys would teach your workers to listen to what a customer wants rather than trying to upsell a product or a service I am not interested in. I broke my phone at work and did some research and found 4 that would work. I didn't have a phone, so I needed one today. All I was interested was buying any of the 4 that i was looking at for today that I can purchase and be on my way. Like every best buy there are employees grouped together, and you have to walk up and ask for help. The sales rep was more interested in what carrier I had and at first i thought it was to match it to any of the ones I was looking for, instead goes into why i don't go through Verizon and I can use their phone to switch my service??? I already had a carrier, and I just wanted a phone, then he went into 2 other phones that I could purchase but I would have to switch over to T mobile if I wanted a special, they were running!!!! again, not what I wanted I already had a carrier, and the phone was more important than the cost, but I couldn't get that through to him!!!( if cost were an issue, I would have applied for a best buy credit card!!!) Once again, he turns over to another phone with a new feature that I did not care about but insisted it would work for what I needed, but then said there would be a 2 week wait for it due to demand.... AGAIN, I NEEDED THE PHONE THEN AND THERE. after I realized that he was bound and determined not to show me any of the 4 phones I interrupted him and just told him I'm just head over to the AT&T across the street. He then informs me there was a AT&T rep in the store and ask if i would like to talk to him.....by then I was done, a $1059 phone + GSP and possibly a branded payment just walked out your door all because your salesman wouldn't take the time to listen....never returning to that best buy again, no wonder why this company is dying..
