Associate very helpful fixing me laptop problems
I visited this Best Buy location to purchase RAM for my laptop and have it installed on-site. The first employee who assisted me incorrectly insisted that I needed to have a Total Tech membership ($180) for Geek Squad to perform the installation. I knew this wasn’t true, as I’ve had RAM installed at Best Buy before without any membership.
Eventually, I spoke with another associate who confirmed that Total Tech is not required for RAM installation. However, I was then told I’d need to make an appointment 4–5 days out to have it done. Waiting nearly a week for a simple 10-minute service is incredibly frustrating and impractical.
Based on the numerous 1-star reviews this location has received, it’s clear that both the quality of service and the staff’s knowledge have significantly declined.
