JADE is the reason I am writing this review. Such employees are responsible for bitter experiences.... they are the "One bad apple" of the entire crew. So I walked into the store to return something and I had lost the receipt. I very well know that Best Buy definitely does returns without receipts (and in certain cases do store credits). So the moment I walked up to the customer service area and spoke to Jade; she had a very straight face, totally hostile, unfriendly, stuck up, unwilling to help. Directly said a "NO" to my question "Hi... I wish to return this but I have lost the receipt. Can we do it?" So then I asked for the manager. The manager walks in, coaches her to look up a receipt on the system by the credit card that was used, finds my purchase proof, returns me the money.... all in 1 minute. Wow! Jade had no remorse or regret on her face for giving me wrong information or being so unhelpful. She needs to go...
Misinformation from employees at all levels. Rewards system is setup to scam you and asking employees, cashiers, and managers about return policies and refunds only gives the wrong answers. Does Best Buy try to make good on it? Nope. Worst Buy — make your purchases somewhere else.
Please let me save you some aggravation. DO NOT come here for anything. DO NOT waste your money on the Best Buy $179 plan. They lie. I stood in line for over 30 minutes waiting for help with just a simple trade in! They not only let people go ahead of me, they kept saying they would help me soon. Save your money. Go to Micro center. They treat you better.
