I am 50/50 with best buy. I have gotten good service and this one and on the other hand I have gotten bad service.
Everyone is so willing to help
I’m really disappointed with Best Buy. They gave me a specific delivery window for my appliances (bought washer/dryer/fridge, etc.)—just to close the sale—and then completely failed to meet it. It feels like they’ll say whatever it takes to secure the purchase, with no regard for follow-through. If you’re relying on accurate delivery info (especially for big-ticket items), be cautious. I expected better transparency and reliability from a major retailer. Don't trust their word, but rather the said date on the email receipt, major red flag.
My dishwasher stopped working in January. Called BB and they sent a technician to see what was wrong. I had to pay for this about $125.00. He barely looked at it and said was likely a computer panel. They would order it and schedule repair. They have scheduled 8 appointments since then and canceled them all. I had to be available each time and canceled many other important items to be at home including business trips. They never canceled until the morning of appointment. Had another today and again stayed home. Used chat at around 9 am to verify and was told it was fine they would be here today. At 4 pm used chat again and was told they couldn’t do it today since no technician was available. Wanted to schedule next week when I have a medical appt. I asked for a supervisor and was told ok now I’ve been waiting almost 20 minutes for supervisor and it still says I’m next in line. DO NOT EXPECT BEST BUY TO EVER REPAIR YOUR APPLIANCE.
I have been more than patient, should have realized by April they weren’t going to fix it but didn’t want to buy a new one since this one is only 3 years old.
