Best Buy Lubbock

Bought a stove and fridge from these crooks. They originally told us we’d have them on the 29th of May 2025. The 29th came and we heard nothing from them. Best Buy was contacted and told us the stove would be in on June 4th, 2025 and that the fridge wouldn’t be in until June 11th, 2025. Well today is June 4th, 2025 and they’ve informed us that the stove would also not be here until the 11th. Of course they didn’t call us, we had to call them. Again. If these items ever make it to my house, my family will never spend another cent at a Best Buy! Absolutely horrible way to do business. Lesson learned: NEVER BUY ANYTHING THEY CANNOT SELL OFF THE FLOOR - the problem? THEY ONLY SELL OPEN BOX ITEMS OFF THE FLOOR, NOTHING NEW!

Best buy is one of my favorite stores to go to. Any excuse to go and I'm on it and expecting to spend atleast an hour or two there just to look at all the different things they have. The only thing I don't like is every five minutes yoy have someone asking if you need help. I do get it though. Especially with the theft these days, and how long I spend just looking around. It's probably not normal, but it is what it is. I can't help my love for window shopping new tech and appliances.

This place is so poorly managed. I need an iPhone repair, so I get on the website and schedule my appointment. Get there at 12 pm this past Friday for my appointment. FIVE people in appointment line ahead of me. I ended up waiting an hour, the old gentleman in front of me waited an hour and a half. ONE person was working the geek squad department when I got there. About 12:30 pm, three more people showed up and started helping, but one of them always had to go to the people in the “walk up” line to tell them how long it was going to take and then proceeded to schedule appointments for them, so the employee was never helping those that made appointments. This is Best Buy, why not have a digital display disclosing walk up appt. Estimation and have them draw a ticket to wait if they wanted to???? So, after my hour of waiting, I get to the desk just to be told they don’t have my screen in stock. What??!!! How was I allowed to schedule the appointment?? There are systems in place for inventory. Again, this is best buy! I shouldn’t have been allowed to schedule that appointment if the screen wasn’t available. I drove an hour to get there and then ended up an hour and a half in line, just to be told. “Oops, sorry.” This is such a poorly managed store and such inefficient systems in place. I hadn’t purchased anything from Best Buy in about three years because of a similar incident when purchasing my son’s laptop for school at tech. Worst Best Buy I have ever been to. Worse than Dallas and Houston, if that tells you anything.
