The staff were terribly rude to me when I went in to see about a potential trade in on my used desktop. They seemed more interested in talking to each other than helping me really. They kept laughing and smiling at each other the entire time I was trying to see about the trade in and it made me feel very uncomfortable and out of place like I was doing something stupid. They finally told me that it was worth nothing (which was certainly untrue bc I looked up its potential value before coming in) and they could only take it in for “recycling.”

Spent $200 for the Geek Squad to perform a windows update, and send me home with an even worse crashing computer. Brought in a PC with a GPU crashing issue. Despite having scheduled ahead, we waited for over a half hour even though there were only two ladies ahead of us. Already drove from way out of town to get there in a thunderstorm. Brought in exactly what I needed to, even fashioned extra notes and passwords and such to make sure the repair went as smoothly as possible. Left it there for 3 days. The cost was $230. I picked it up just for them to tell me they updated it and did nothing else. I get home and I can't find time to play for a week. I finally boot it up, waiting all week to play, and it's still crashing. $200 for Geek Squad to perform a windows update and hand me a STILL non-functional device. Even worse, I used to could get a couple hours of playtime, now it crashes on startup. Attempted to call them MULTIPLE times and was met with the dumbest, least intuitive AI model I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Left on hold for God knows how long. After being told that number calls their front desk, the ever kind support human on the phone told me that isnt ever possible, so just straight up lied to by Geek Squad. Alexandria is excellent at her job, Cassius lied to my face. I'm going to just scour Reddit or Steam in hopes for a fix, or attend an online class, because anything you can find scraps of on the internet is going to be more helpful to you, than this Best Buy ever could be. But hey, at least they'll redirect you to another location if you ever need a cellphone screen repair. Go AHYWHERE else👎
