Got my husband a cyberpower gaming pc for black Friday and the guys there were very nice and helpful, helped us get the pc, and helped me out with paying with my credit card (dont have card yet) didn't catch the guys name but he's tall and blonde, did have a little trouble finding the right pc but eventually found it, ( it was next to us the whole time, not his fault, they did have lots of people to help)
Avoid this store at ALL costs — especially their open-box scams.
This place sold me nothing but lies, headaches, and a broken dryer.
I bought an open-box Samsung washer, dryer, and dishwasher, plus brand-new pedestals and five-year Geek Squad warranties. The sales rep guaranteed that if anything couldn’t be fixed, they’d replace it with a new unit. That promise is the ONLY reason I agreed to open-box. I paid roughly $3,650.
Delivery was supposed to be November 10th. They pushed it to the 17th because the pedestals were “delayed.” When I asked the manager about compensation for the delay, she basically brushed me off with, “It’s open-box, so nothing I can do.” Fine. Just get the stuff working.
Then the real disaster started:
The dryer wouldn’t even connect to the app.
Ran a load — it didn’t dry at all.
Tried multiple settings — still nothing. A brand-name dryer that can’t do the ONE thing it’s supposed to do.
We went back to the store. The sales rep told us to call service. After long troubleshooting over FaceTime, service told us to call the store again. Store rep on phone told us science it open box i would have to come to store to do exchange
When I went back in person, the same manager hit me with: “I can refund you or you can pay the difference for a new one.”
So basically: their product fails on day one, their rep promises replacement, and the manager tells me it’s my problem and I should pay MORE money.
Weeks of waiting, and now I’m stuck with a useless dryer and a manager who thinks “take it or leave it” is customer service. I could’ve bought a cheaper NEW set and avoided all this nonsense.
Do NOT trust their open-box deals. Do NOT trust their verbal promises. And definitely do NOT expect the manager to care about anything except shutting you up. Worst experience I’ve had with a store in years.
