Shout out for Tee, Masoud, and TJ, all of whom provided excellent customer service. Tee helped us find the tiny Ridge Wallet display in the vast cavern of a Best Buy big box store. Masoud expertly directed me to the USB cables and helped me identify the best choice for my needs. TJ got us through the check-out in a fast and friendly manner.
Let’s be real this location needs to hire some better employees because the employees that y’all have at this location aren’t friendly nor welcoming
JP and Masood (hope I’m spelling that right) are lifesavers. Had to buy a laptop a few weeks back and got a Lenovo Yoga with a Snapdragon CPU. I wasn’t very pleased with the laptop to say the least. I walked in with the receipt and asked for a return, and they said all I would need is my id and original payment method and I was set, but that I had to reset my laptop to factory settings. I’ve done this dozens of times, and thought it would be a quick thing. An hour and a half later, I am still fighting with the laptop to actually just INITIATE a reset. Fun fact about snapdragon processors: they are the most frustrating processors in the world when it comes to actually following what you tell them to do. Went through system settings for reset, no dice. Rebooted through UEFI and navigated to factory reset there, nothing. Disabled encryption key, manually uninstalled bitlocker, recovered encryption key, changed boot sequence, nothing. It was already half an hour past closing time at this point, and I was getting ready to head out and try again tomorrow. JP and Masood called up one of the guys over at the geek squad and they said they would take care of it. Processed my refund and got me out of there. Huge thanks to JP and Masood. Had to buy 2 laptops in 3 weeks (since the snapdragon just did not do what I needed to and had to get a replacement) and I really needed that money asap.
I had a very disappointing experience at this Best Buy location. An associate named Roberto accused me of lying and spoke to me in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner. I came in expecting helpful service, but instead was met with hostility for no reason. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope management addresses this behavior. I won’t be returning.
