You need to know that you are buying products that might have problems
And although you pay for insurance you will need to fight with them until they will agree to send a technician.

I bought a refrigerator and a washer and dryer, the representative explained to me that there was no warranty for the products but that I could purchase insurance. I paid for insurance. After a few months, the refrigerator malfunctioned, I contacted Best Buy, who referred me to Geek Squat, who referred me to the manufacturer...! Now they claim there is still a manufacturer's warranty.. In any case, my insurance is only valid from the moment the manufacturer's warranty ends..., that's called cheating. Why did they sell me insurance "because there is no warranty"? . And if I already paid for insurance, then why are you sending me to the manufacturer? After all, I paid you extra money... So you know that Best Buy's service is on the face. I recommend buying at Lowes. At least their service gives peace of mind.

This is much worse than I thought. You are a horrible company. I contact LG service and they ask me to pay for a technician, I find myself arguing with them that I paid insurance and that the refrigerator is new, but they claim that I have had it for two years... because it is a refrigerator that someone returned to the store. But Best Buy doesn't tell you that, they sell you a used product, and in addition they charge money for insurance, and I have to spend whole days on the phone between 3 customer service centers. Just to find someone to come and fix a refrigerator that has not worked for a whole week. Be aware of that.

I purchased all new appliances including washer and dryer 2/2026.
I went in with intention of adding the 5-year warranty on all of my items, no questions asked. While the young lady was helpful, the issue for me occurred during checkout. I made it known I wanted the extended warranty, but then the membership was presented. I requested a sheet of paper and grabbed a pen in order to compare costs (5-year warranty on all items vs 5 years of the membership). I determined the cost for the membership for 5 years would be worth it. Additionally, I asked questions, specifically inquiring the ability to cancel the membership after 5-6 years.
I then find out this weekend the membership is only good for 2 years! This was NEVER explained to me. I would've NEVER signed up for that. I called the customer care line and unfortunately since I'm outside the 60 day window, I'm stuck with no warranty after 2 years. I'm highly upset!!!
This is my notice to the public, IF YOU WANT COVERAGE BEYOND 2 YEARS GET THE "REGULAR" EXTENDED WARRANTY ilo THE MEMBERSHIP! I absolutely was duped and now it's going to cost me.
