I exchanged my Pixel 7 for a new one since the screen broke. The new one they sent was defective. I believe they shipped a refurbished phone. If so that is a Best Buy Corp policy. And not the store location's fault.
The Geek Squad at the store told me to call the main support line. I ended up being transferred on the phone at least a dozen times over the course of 3 hours. While mediating a discussion between the support and The Geek Squad, who clearly didn't like one another, neither could help since I came back 40 days after receiving the replacement.
My call got disconnected. When I called back the rep, who sounded like a kid actually knew what he was talking about. He told me I should go to the Rockville store.
The experience at the Rockville store felt other worldly by comparison. The manager was able to find the right replacement plan on my warranty. He spoke with the Geek Squad directly. He called the corporate office and was telling them what they needed to do. I was able to get a new phone in less than 30 mins. Then he gave me a stool so I could transfer my data before turning in the defective phone.
Although, my experience was horrible and the staff at Rockville seemed like they had more training. I'm giving the store 3-stars because I think a lot of the issues were related to Best Buy policies and their software systems.

Best Buy is our go-to place for large purchases like appliances. This visit was for a new washing machine. We got an LG washer to match the dryer we had, it was installed within a few days without any issues. Best Buy offers zero interest financing for 18 months so it's easy to make a big purchase and spread out the payments without extra interest, instead of using a credit card.
I was looking for a MacBook Pro 16 inch with nano texture screen. The employee sold me the wrong one. I should've known he didn't know what he was talking about when he didn't know the color of it when I was checking out. He kept forcing me to buy the Best Buy credit card. Never had anyone ask me 6 times to apply for a credit card! Please educate your employees. They are only worried about their credit card commission. I've been a loyal best buy customer since 2010. First time experienced something like this. Guess this what I get for cheating on my hometown Best Buy.…..
