Excellent customer service. Angelo was so friendly, answered all my questions, and was able to help me find the exact right products. Even went in the back and brought out some additional options that hadn’t been restocked yet. Really went above and beyond.
I had a very disappointing experience at this Best Buy because of the way I was treated by Angelo and the lack of professionalism from the store manager, Mike.
We found a TV sound system with a sale sign clearly showing $259.99, so we brought it to the register. Angelo told us the price was $299.99. We politely explained that the shelf showed $259.99, but instead of handling the situation professionally, he became visibly frustrated, gave us an attitude, and acted as if we were bothering him.
He initially didn’t even want to go check the price on the shelf. When he finally did, he took the sale sign down, said it had “expired,” and threw it in the garbage right in front of us. At no point did he apologize for the incorrect signage or for the confusion it caused.
Angelo also said he was going to call his manager, but he never did. We had to find another employee ourselves to get a manager involved.
When Mike, the store manager, came over, after 30m of waiting. I expected him to de-escalate the situation and address the way his employee had treated us. Instead, there was no apology for Angelo’s behavior, no acknowledgment of the misleading price sign, and no effort to make the situation right. As a manager, I expected much better customer service and leadership.
I understand that pricing mistakes happen, but there is no excuse for treating customers with disrespect. A simple apology and a professional attitude would have completely changed this experience. Instead, we left feeling disrespected and disappointed. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.
