Worst Experience with Best Buy - False Promises and Terrible Customer Service! I had a terrible experience with Best Buy and feel completely deceived. They lure customers with fake discounts just to get them to buy! I purchased a full kitchen appliance set, including a refrigerator, microwave, and stove, for $10,000. The salesperson promised me that if I bought everything from Best Buy, I would receive a $750 rebate through the "Bosch Discount" program. However, this turned out to be a complete lie! The Borsch program officially confirmed that they do not work with Best Buy and do not offer such rebates. When I contacted Best Buy customer service, they told me they would send a $400 gift card instead. I waited for a month, but nothing arrived. When I called again, they redirected me to their gift card service, which does not even accept calls unless you already have a gift card. After another call, I spoke to a representative who barely spoke English and could not even find my purchase in the system! They had no idea about the discount I was promised. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Best Buy is full of false promises and deception. Do NOT trust them!

I've been using this Best Buy location for over a decade and have personally witnessed the decline in the quality of customer service at this specific store. Today was the final straw. I went in to return a graphics card I bought in error that was unopened and bought within the past week. I was told by the teenager manning the entrance that they no longer accept returns for graphics cards due to theft of RAM cards. I'd need to call a special number he conveniently didn't know or have, and then have the card tested to ensure the presence of RAM. LMAO Of course a manager was not available at the time. Not one to create a scene, I left, knowing I had other options. I immediately contacted a customer service representative via online chat. Both this rep and the subsequent Geek Squad rep I chatted with were incredulous and had never heard of any such policy at any store. I was able to quickly return the card with a simple online return label emailed from the Geek Squad rep. The kid at the front was clearly lazy and uninterested in anything close to customer service. This store, like so many other big-box retail stores in general, is in steep decline. Do better.
