Weekdays are not the day to shop here. Customer service is almost non existant. Employees on phones ignoring customers. Even worse If you are doordasher or use doordash. Possibly some profiling as well as receipt checker only will check certain peoples receipts 😒.
The guys who helped me were great however I had some peculiar activity following my visit with geek squad.
If your like me you probably receive quite a few spam or fraud emails, generally the ones I receive are from PayPal for something I never purchased.
2 days after my visit to geek squad, I received 2 separate invoices/receipts for my extended service contract (with geek squad) showing a 2 yr renewal for $488.xx. of course there were phone numbers and I'm sure if I called them someone would say "your computer is hacked! You must download this software right away so we can fix it!" Which would in turn lead to a draining of all my accounts.
If you ask me, it sure seems like someone local or someone that manages their data is sharing the info with scammers or they are the scammers themselves. If it was some other timeline that I received such email invoices I probably wouldn't be concerned but these came 2 days after my first and only visit to geek squad and I've never visited geek squad or received phony geek squad invoices prior to this. Timing is everything!
So if you visit geek squad please beware of fake invoices for your extended service contract, don't call the numbers given on the bogus invoice or respond to the email.
