Best Buy Vernon Hills

AJ helped my husband and me with the purchase of a washer, dryer, and refrigerator at the Vernon Hills Best Buy, and I wanted to recognize him for the excellent service he provided. We placed an online order for two TVs, one of which was an open-box item (listed in good condition) that we picked up from your Vernon Hills store on Monday, July 6. The listing indicated that there were no missing items, only some scratches. When we got home and opened the box, we discovered that it contained only the TV—none of the accessories, including the stand, were included. When a Best Buy associate delivered the second TV, they told us this should be an easy issue to resolve and suggested that we visit a local Best Buy store. We went to the store closest to us, but they did not have a compatible stand for the TV and advised us to contact the Vernon Hills store where the TV was purchased. Unfortunately, the Vernon Hills store is over 30 minutes away, so we tried calling instead. However, it appears there is no way to speak directly with anyone at the store, as all calls are routed to Best Buy customer service. Customer service submitted three requests on our behalf, including one directly to the store manager, who was supposed to return our call within two hours. Despite these requests, we have not received a single callback. This has been extremely frustrating. We have made every reasonable effort to resolve this issue, but the lack of communication from the store has made it impossible. At this point, I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Ideally, we would like to receive the missing stand and any other accessories that should have been included with the TV. If that is not possible, we would appreciate a partial refund or store credit so we can purchase a compatible stand elsewhere. It has been quite some time since I last shopped at Best Buy, and unfortunately this experience has been very disappointing. I hope you can help resolve this issue promptly.

Came into the store ready to buy a laptop. Stood around trying to get some help for about 40 minutes. People on the floor need to pay attention. They just lost that sale.
