The Best Buy on Marks in Henderson is my home store and has been for years. I decided to purchase a new laptop which I did over the phone with a customer service rep. I bought the laptop with a two year warranty which included set-up of the new and transfer of the old in my home. Or so I thought. When my laptop arrived I immediately called to set up the in home visit. Two and a half hours and four phone calls later with different 'managers' I was still trying to understand what went wrong and why I would have to pay any additional $349 for the in home setup. So today I took my laptop, still in the box, to Best Buy on Marks. I had every intention of returning it and canceling the new credit card. I was greeted by Eric who I believe is one of the store managers which I did not know at the time. He listened intently to my story of woe about my experience. He very calmly, with great resolve, and professionalism asked me a couple of questions. He then called his colleague Aiden who helped me arrange a time for the Geek Squad to come to my house. I don't think I was in the store more than 10 minutes. What started out as a very frustrating first time at Best Buy experience, turned out instead to be a great experience; like countless times before. In fact, the old laptop is one I bought at BB 9 years ago. When a company has the right people in positions that require professional resolve and reserve, that company will reap the benefits, especially in retail, and especially during the holiday season. Bought a Dell laptop from them online on sale that was an open box the open box laptop the volume keys did not work they refuse to fix it. They told me I had to return it and buy a brand new one for $1000 which was 50% more than what I had paid for it on these people are a joke
