We had a truly touching experience at Best Buy thanks to an incredible associate named Mike. Our dad, a Vietnam War veteran, was treated with such kindness and respect by Mike. Not only did he graciously honor a military discount, but he also took the time to connect with our dad, sharing stories and listening to his. Watching them talk was genuinely moving — it was more than just a transaction; it was a moment of shared humanity. We’re so grateful for Mike’s compassion and for making our visit a memorable one.
When to pick up an open box TV I bought online. First he brought me some else's tv. I said that's not my TV. He said yes it is, I said no it's not. Then he brought out the right one.
I asked if it had the remote, he said yes. We brought it out and it did not. With all of the hand prints on the screen and rough handling I decided not to buy it and returned it. He put the LG G4 screen side down on the dolly. Yikes! I recommend more staff training on moving flat screens.
All other service was fine. He was calm and kind. Manager was super. Just that weird issue with TV handling.
I had a situation today where it was impossible to reach anyone at a store by phone, and information given to me by corporate customer service turned out to be incorrect. When I made the trip to the Ridgedale store based on information I was given by the customer service representative, I would have incurred some extra expense with the service I needed, but the manager at Ridgedale made an exception, not due to any mistake made by his store, but because he understood that as a company, Best Buy steered me wrong on the pricing, and by making it impossible to reach the actual store to confirm any details before going there in person. Good customer service.
Friendly helpful staff, had exactly the wifi router we needed
