What a nightmare resulting from a simple Best Buy mistake: shipped the wrong phone to me. Criminal complaint or can this be solved? I just bought a galaxy phone online during the black Friday in July sale. Was sent the wrong phone. After 5 hours and 2 days at the store, I was told to give it back to the store without receiving a refund and they will send the correct phone (talked with corporate office while I was in the store). So I did as they requested, and had the manager in the store help me. Now today I'm told that they won't be sending the correct phone in the mail and I no longer have a phone to return since I handed it over without a refund so I cannot be given a refund. I am out a lot of money and now have no replacement phone. Do I go the police department and file a charge? I spoke with Best Buy over the phone and they can do nothing to solve it - just happens that someone lied to me about how to solve their mistake and I am now out hundreds of dollars. I've filed a dispute on the credit card side of this that could take months to decide, but it seems like Best Buy could fix a simple mistake they made. I've spent over 6 hours talking with 8 or more Best Buy employees both in store and over the phone, each with a different story on how this problem cannot be solved. Won't ever shop here again.

Absolutely terrible experience with Best Buy. My delivery was canceled on two separate occasions, each time with no real explanation and no follow-up. In between, they rescheduled deliveries to days I had already said I was unavailable, forcing me to rearrange my schedule—only for them to change the delivery time again last minute. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service is appalling. No one has made any attempt to make it right. This has been a complete waste of time and energy. I won’t be shopping with Best Buy again.

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. My son ordered a $600.00 piece of electronic equipment for his computer. When he ordered it he asked if it could be pick up by me (his mother as he was on his way to Austin Texas for work) and gave them my name and was told it would be ready for me to pick up. My daughter and I went to the store and they would not give it to me. Asked to talk to the manager and she refused to talk to me and to also talk to my son on the phone. This manager was rude and insulting. Am surprised, with her attitude, she is in this position. For me I will not shop at Bust Buy again.

Best Buy does have a process for putting a pick up person's name on the order. We are not allowed to release items without that process being followed.
