At my request The Geek Squad" updated my tower computer about 5 months ago. Although It had been working fine I wanted to make it run better and faster. The Geek Squad said they could do it so I gave them the "go ahead" and delivered the computer to them.
At first all things were good, until I tried to access my 3 disc drives,
each of which had been working before The Geek Squad had worked on it. None of them powered up, which is unacceptable because I need them for reviewing drawings and records that were archived on discs.
An AI transferred my call to Best Buy but the phone just kept ringing. Finally an "A1" thing answered and said it could help me schedule a time when I could bring ithe computer back. It said there were a few dates that were available, but each time I tried to schedule one the AI said it was not available. This continued three times.
Finally, in frustration, I asked AI to connect me with a human. My call was "transferred"
After waiting about 5+ minutes for a human to pick up the phone, I gave up. All I was hearing was a repeating and boring sound of some type of thing they called "music".
In summary based on this experience I would never EVER refer anyone to Best Buy or The Geek Squad. Their service, in my opinion, is terrible.
