Best Buy in Taylor and their delivery service broke the TV I bought and wasted hours of my time. I specifically drove out to Taylor and back because they had a good deal on a open box display model TCL 98QM7K. I checked it out there, saw it was good, and arranged to have it delivered to my house. I took time to leave work and drive to my house to confirm the delivery and let them in. The TV however had the screen cracked and ruined since I bought it. I sent it back on the truck, and Best Buy advised I come in to the store to discuss an exchange. I wasted even more time once again driving out to Taylor and trying to exchange it for a different TV, a new Samsung 77S90F since they didn’t have any other open box TCL 98QM7K. I asked if they would price match with Amazon as their policy stated, and they agreed and went to the cash register. At the last second the manager handling my exchange backed out, asked to double check the price match, and started insisting the Amazon price was a prime only deal. It wasn’t, in fact the prime price was even better. He insisted I get a best buy membership to price match, which I told him I didn’t need and shouldn’t be necessary in the first place. He then started giving incorrect numbers on how much of a sale it was and at that point I just asked for a refund instead, which I could have done digitally or over the phone instead of wasting all this time. Terrible experience overall and I will not be returning to this Best Buy or any for that matter.

I called for a quote on a backup camera and was told $149, but when I got there the total was over $900. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. Mickey Shorr got me set up with a backup camera and installation for much less, and the whole process was straightforward and transparent. Glad I shopped around. Thanks MICKEY SHORR!!!

The fact that you can not call and talk to an associate in the store is actually crazy. You have to first deal with AI and then just a customer service agent. Smh!!!
