Half of the staff is super helpful and the other half completely takes away from that. (Please read!) Went in several times one week to get equipment for a project, so I had a chance really see what was consistent and what was random chance. Good: - The people who work the back/the computer section are really helpful and direct folk. Found literally everything I needed, and even checked the back when I couldn't find very very specific things. Was looking for a specific SATA cable and was blown away when they had it. - Curbside pickup (nice). - Variety of products. Given the location isn't massive, seriously impressive. - The return policy. Literally the ONLY thing that's keeping this a four star review and not a three. An open-box (given, it was marked "Excellent Condition") item didn't work and they still refunded me that very same day. Groovy. Bad: - The greeters. I guarantee this is not for all of them, just the guys who happened to be there every single time I went. I understand it's procedure to ask "need help finding anything?" and stuff like that, but when you're too busy talking to your buddy and follow me 15 feet in one direction to ask me---because you almost didn't notice me enter---just to check the box, it doesn't feel genuine. I get people get distracted, especially when the store's dead, but this was 4 out of the 5 trips I made that week. One of the greeters typically has to move over to the checkout counter when there's people waiting in line because they seem a little understaffed (I get it's typically dead, but you still have customers). This is more bothersome because---outside of one polite woman who waited on me---most of the greeters check you out like they're impatient to get back to talking with their door buddy for $15 an hour. - What I hope is a one-time experience. As mentioned, I had to return a malfunctioning item. One of the greeters, upon seeing me one hour later with said item, looked me straight in the eye, smirked, and said "what, did you not like it or something?" like I was some petulant child who's single returned item is gonna ruin their 5 hour shift of chatting. Completely unacceptable behavior, and very rude to someone who actively tries to give your location business. ---------------------------------------- I love BestBuy, but I will not be returning to this location out of self respect. They have good products and great business policies, but they really need to hold their staff to high standard I've seen in EVERY other BestBuy location I've been to.

I was disappointed that my scheduled appointment with geek squad was to hear their sales pitch and not to look at my computer, like I was told on the phone. Will likely be bringing my computer elsewhere for service

Good prices, and if you need something right away. If not knowledgeable, you will be upsold to warranties, service plans, and equipment that you might need. When buying electronics, it's a good idea to be educated before you walk in.
