This has got to be the worse best buy ever!! I went there last week to look at the samsung z fold 7, I currently have the samsung 25 ultra. I was told by two employees that there is a $1,000 trade in. The manager pulled my information up and told me I was approved for the $1,000 trade in. They didn't have the color or gb on the samsung z fold 7 that I wanted so he had to order it. Told me once I get the phone in to bring the s 25 ultra there to get my $1,000 trade in credited back to my best buy credit card that I used to purchase the z fold 7 with. I went up there today to do the trade in and was told by the employees that their only offering $400.00 for my s25 ultra trade in. I argued no that is not correct I was told by two of your employees, one of them stating he was a manager, that I was approved. The employee at the front desk basically told me sorry that doesn't apply for you unless your carrier is at&t or Verizon. Mind you this phone is unlocked. I bought the s 25 ultra at best buy in February. I was never asked one time about what carrier I'm with to qualify to get the $1,000 trade in credit. The staff is extremely unknowledgable about the products they sell & promotions. Not only do I feel lied to I feel cheated!! I would have purchased the z fold on the samsung website because they offer the 1,000 trade no matter what carrier I'm with.
