I went to Best Buy to have my screen protector replaced under the warranty I purchased when I bought my phone in April of last year. At that time, I also paid the additional $7.99 for installation, which I was told covered installation for the lifetime of the device. Over the past year, I’ve had my screen protector replaced and reinstalled several times without a single issue. This visit was completely different. The cashier was polite and professional, but once she called over the general manager, Anna S., the experience went downhill immediately. From the moment she walked over, she had no smile, came across as smug, and seemed more interested in arguing than helping. I explained that I had purchased both the replacement warranty and the lifetime installation. She responded by saying, “That policy has changed, and it’s been changed for years.” That simply didn’t make sense since my phone isn’t even “years” old, and Best Buy had honored the installation multiple times over the past year. She then claimed there were signs posted everywhere explaining the policy and even told me, “I think there’s one left at the desk over there, go look.” That’s not how you treat a customer who’s simply asking why a benefit they’ve used several times is suddenly being denied. When I asked for her name, what should have been a simple question turned into a game. She repeatedly avoided answering directly, saying things like, “The general manager” before finally offering me a business card instead of simply introducing herself. It was an unnecessarily confrontational interaction from someone who is supposed to lead the store. I’ve managed retail teams myself, and this type of behavior would never have been acceptable. Good managers explain policies respectfully, especially when a customer has a legitimate reason to be confused. Instead, this felt like someone trying to assert authority over a $7 installation rather than provide good customer service. I’ve already contacted corporate, and they’re investigating the interaction. Whether the policy changed or not, the way I was treated was unacceptable. Customer service matters, and this experience fell far below what I’d expect from Best Buy. Very disappointed.

I had an appointment to get my samsung phone worked on only to find out they don't work on Samsung devices so I ended up having to buy a new phone where Bri helped me. The phone I purchased was on sale for $374 but she sold it to me for regular price at $449. I checked my receipt and went back to the store and told Ryan what had happened how Bri had over charged me and also returned the screen protectors I had bought. Ryan gave me the $75 back and even activated my new phone which is something Bri wouldn't do for me. Both Ryan and Jon worked on activating my new phone up until they closed and worked hard.

It's a Best Buy. All of the things you want are here. They fix the stuff you broke, and give clear answers about what is wrong and what it will cost. It's clean, fairly well organized, and busy on Saturday. Thriving. Glad it's here.
