Best Buy Plymouth Mtg Store (#448) was all perfectly fine. But in particular I wanted to leave a review for the Dyson specialist that was at the store. She was very knowledgeable (sp?) and very pleasant. She was just great and I wanted to give a positive shout out to her. Unfortunately as I completely forgot to post this yesterday I forgot her name (oops!). But she was at this store this weekend. Anyway, it's just nice to speak to people that are both well versed and actually enjoy what they are doing.
Sad to say I did not get my usual good experience from Best Buy. This is not my local Best Buy store (I was brought here because they had an open box item I wanted). When I got to the store I asked a sales associate for the product (laptop) he then brings it out. I asked some general questions (warranty, condition,etc). He was not that helpful and lacked knowledge of the products (fine okay).
Moving on, I asked to look at the condition of the laptop and tried to turn it on. It did not power on and I was task to find my own power (which I did). I powered on the laptop and on the welcome screen it was still logged in from the previous owner (Best Buy website states was already suppose to be reset to factory setting) IT WAS NOT. I asked the sales associate about that, he offered to sell me a new one… not the solution I was looking for.
I continued to push on about how we can have this resolved in store prior to be leaving. After going back and forth he sent me over to Geek Squad to have them do a factory reset. The lady said it was going to take about 15 mins. (IT DID NOT).
Through the whole process from me walking into the store and leaving…. It’s took about 2hrs. Best part… I GAVE UP and left, WITHOUT THE LAPTOP.
I think this store sales associate needs more training (customer service, product knowledge, time management). And to conclude, I don’t have this same problem at my local Best Buy. ITS JUST THIS STORE.

I had an issue with my charger on my computer. They were super courteous, And had exactly what I needed. The old charger I had was actually more than what I needed for efficient charging. They could Simply handed me the same product but instead they took the time To check out Other options, some less expensive options, and saved me 30 bucks!!

If you want a place with overpriced merchandise and associate who are unwilling to help, you may have found your place.
