Best Buy South Setauket

Bought a laptop less than three months ago, got the warranty, and it randomly stopped working last night while I was writing contracts for my personal business. Was told by Best Buy, after submitting a repair ticket, that I needed to mail it in to the manufacturer for replacement and they couldn't do anything for me. Spoke with the manufacturer, gave them my serial number and they said it was Best Buy's responsibility. Called Best Buy back and stayed on phone for forty minutes without resolution. Contacted the manufacturer again, and they sent me a confirmation that it was Best Buy's responsibility again. Still no resolution. Now my business is inhibited and Best Buy clearly doesn't know what they're doing and scamming people with bogus warranties and no accountability for product faults.

Interesting store with a lot of tech stuff. Good place to go in a pinch for computer stuff. A bit pricy for me on high end stuff I want.

Was just in there earlier today and had a young man named Yousef come up to me in the store seeing if I needed help. Immediately he was locked in and on his game, running into the back to find the product I needed. After going back a few times he found exactly what I was looking for with a smile on his face the entire time, he then rang me up and I was on my way. I've never experienced better customer service in my entire life, this kid absolutely deserves a BIG raise. He made me feel almost at home, and comfortable throughout the whole buying process. Thanks a bunch Yousef!

Worst experience of my life. Been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Bought all tvs, laptops, computers from here. Bought a 77' samsung TV most recently that stopped working 45 days after purchase. I called bestbuy customer service who referred my to samsung. Samsung technician took 2 weeks to get to me. Told me the TV was fried. When i went back to bestbuy, they claimed i was outside 60 day refund period and nothing they can do. If customer service alerted me of the 60 day period initially, i could have exchanged. Customer service is terrible, and employees in the store are useless. I'll be taking my business to PC Richards.
