After buying $5000.00 in new appliances a few years ago my dishwasher stopped working. Would help because no service contracts were in effect.
Tried to buy one and refused to help.Geek squad is BS.

I normally enjoy shopping at Best Buy, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I came in specifically to buy a headset for my son, something he has been excited about for weeks, and I expected at least a basic level of customer service. Unfortunately, no one ever showed up to help us.
We waited in the gaming section for quite a while, looking around, trying to compare different models, and hoping an associate would notice we needed assistance. Several employees walked past without even acknowledging us. I even tried to make eye contact or signal that we needed help, but it felt like we were completely invisible. After standing there long enough that my son started getting frustrated, I asked an employee near the front for assistance, and even then, nobody ever came over.
What makes it worse is that this wasn’t a busy holiday moment or a chaotic rush—there was no reason someone couldn’t take a minute to help us with a simple purchase. We ended up leaving without the headset, and my son was disappointed.
I hope management takes this seriously. A little customer service goes a long way, and this time, Best Buy really fell short.
