Knowledgeable and helpful staff
This place is horrible and that's being kind. The salesman are liars, the managers in the stores are ghosts and customer service is third partied to India, where no best buy store even exists. The rub is their protection plans a total scam, do your homework. As for me Best Buy won't get one more penny from me, I will buy direct from the manufacturer or do without. I waited a half hour in the Poughkeepsie store to see a manager, 4hrs later still haven't seen one. It's incredible a buisness can be this incompetent and still stay open, but our standards are so low these days that we expect it. By the way the employees at work there. Obviously. Don't enjoy working there because when you speak to them directly. They just rolled their eyes and go. Yeah we know terrible.

I had a problem with my cellphone the other day due to a scam. The bank and police suggested I have it checked for malware. I called the geek squad and asked if they are able to do that. They said yes and if they have to remove it it would be $34.99. I went to my appointment. Waited in line for some time. When it was my turn, I went up to the employee and told them I had the appointment for my phone to be checked for malware. He told me they don’t do that. I told him I called and they told me that they did and they gave me the appointment to have it done his response. Was they tell you that to get in here so you’ll shop and buy something. I told him really? That is really messed up not everybody has time to spare, especially for no reason and it wasn’t right that they did that. He did t seem phased. But I took the time of of my day away from things that I had to do for NO reason. Not happy
