Ordered a Google Pixel 9 from Best Buy with a guaranteed delivery date of Tuesday and a signature requirement (unlike Amazon, which doesn’t make you jump through hoops). Stayed home all day—nothing showed up. Contacted customer service, was told it would still arrive that same day. It didn’t. Stayed home again the next day—still nothing. Eventually, FedEx reported it lost.
Throughout this, I was constantly disconnected on the phone after waiting 20+ minutes and dropped from live chats with reps who didn’t follow up. After wasting two full days, Best Buy’s only response was essentially: “We did our part.” No offer of a discount, gift card, or any goodwill gesture.
