Try to support local brick and mortar stores. Ordered a fridge from them. Waited appx 10 days as it was at store for pickup for about a week. I kept checking but wasn’t available to pick up. Tried calling where I was assisted by the worst AI imaginable and then after a half hour I got to speak to some overseas call center. He said it’s not his fault they don’t pick up the phone and that I should drive out there to talk to them. Gas is $4 and I haven’t got time for that crap. Canceled order and Jeff Bezos gets more of my money. I had similar experience w many local places. Terrible.

I had a deeply frustrating experience trying to track down a specific item today. The corporate systems are incredibly disconnected:
• Inaccurate Stock Info: The website doesn't show local availability and tells you to call the store.
• Zero Direct Access: You can no longer call the store directly. You’re forced through an AI filter and a remote call center that has no idea what is actually on the shelves.
• Lack of Concern: When I finally arrived, the staff seemed completely indifferent to how broken this system is for customers.
It’s mind-boggling that the company invests in call centers and AI instead of just letting local employees answer the phone. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere because you’ll never know if they have what you need and you might just b wasting your time to begin with.
