Worked with someone named Carlos, and he was one of the rudest people. Best Buy seriously needs to do some better employee training. Very condescending and downright mean.

Not A GOOD STORE The Potomac Yard Geek Squad is the most unreliable staff namely Marcus who worked on my brand new computer. I have brought the computer in 6 times. I now have 6 work orders and still don't have a fully working computer. I called the store speaking to various staff who did not have the courtesy or ability to provide customer service. I ask for a manager and was directed to Marcus, he informed me no manager was in the store. I asked if he had a number for his manager. He said he was not allowed to give out the number. I did not want the number I simply wanted him to call his manager and alert him of my problem and frustration. He hung the phone up on me. This is how they respond to a paying customer with problems they caused. Don't use this store's Geek Squad, find another one that has more reliable people that surely is not Marcus.

had an extremely disappointing experience at this Best Buy. My fiancée purchased an Xbox Game Pass card as a gift for me and specifically asked the cashier before buying it if it could be returned. She was told yes, which influenced the purchase.
When I went to return it (still sealed, unscratched, and unused), the customer service desk immediately told me “it probably won’t work” before even checking anything. The manager repeated the policy and dismissed the situation without considering that their own employee gave us incorrect information at checkout. No effort to help, no solutions, no accountability. just a quick “no.”
I fully understand Best Buy’s return policy for gift cards. The issue is the misinformation their employee gave us, which led to a purchase we would not have made. Instead of addressing that or offering any courtesy solution (even store credit), the staff made me feel like I was wasting their time.
Poor customer service, zero ownership, and no willingness to fix a mistake that originated with their own team. Very disappointing experience.
