I went to Best Buy on Saturday to purchase an Oura Ring and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one of the sales associates. I believe his name was Jan, Jen, or something similar.
I approached him politely and said, “Hi, I need help with one of the rings.” Instead of simply asking how he could help, he immediately seemed annoyed, making gestures with his arms as if I should have already given him more information. He then rudely responded, “Color? Size?” We weren’t even standing in front of the display yet.
When a customer is about to spend nearly $600 on a product, they shouldn’t have to deal with an employee who acts irritated simply because they asked for assistance. His attitude was so unpleasant that I immediately asked for someone else to help me because I did not want to continue dealing with him.
The entire interaction was very unprofessional and unnecessary. If someone works in customer service, customers should not be made to feel like they are bothering them just by asking for help. Thankfully, I was able to get assistance from someone else, but this employee’s attitude definitely left a bad impression of my experience at Best Buy.

Genuinely just a pathetic experience at this Best Buy. I purchased a pair of open box (Excellent Condition) speakers for a great price and picked up at this location.
Upon pickup, the speakers were missing not only the power cord, but also speaker wires included in the original package—both which are required to be included in Excellent Condition open-box purchases.
Best Buy employees could not find a replacement power cord, nor speaker wires to remedy either of the missing parts. They offered, almost sheepishly, to lower the “condition” which would refund me approximately $3 dollars, which would have taken about 1 hour, according to the condescending supervisor who looked like he’d rather be doing anything else.
Another lady approached me and was also extremely condescending and told me I did not understand their open-box policy and that the power cord was not guaranteed in the purchase. Her snarky replies were unnecessary as she was not even helping me—so she decided to simply chime in and be rude to a paying customer.
Horrific experience at this Best Buy and an indicator of how lazy the employees are and how unresponsive management is to issues. This should not happen and Best Buy should remedy this immediately.
Ashley is so amazing to work with. She’s nice, knowledgeable, and patient. She’s helped make great decisions with the tech I’ve bought here and I’m thankful to be able to work with someone I can have a great experience with each time I come in.
Thank you Ashley!
