I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with BestBuy's online pickup service. I ordered a Mac Mini PC for one-hour pickup and received a confirmation email. After waiting for an hour without any further notification, I went to the store to find out what was going on. To my dismay, I discovered that my order had been canceled without any notification because they "couldn't find the item." The situation worsened when, after canceling my order, they suddenly found the Mac Mini. Instead of simply handing me the item I had already purchased, the manager, Cush, claimed he couldn't push the order through. The only solution he offered was to wait 3-5 days for a refund and repurchase the item—leaving me out $1,200 in the meantime. There was no compensation offered, and there was no real effort to rectify the situation. Overall, it was an incredibly inconvenient and frustrating experience. This is unacceptable customer service, and I'll certainly think twice before trusting BestBuy with another big purchase. #BestBuyFail #CustomerServiceMatters #FrustratingExperience

I was coming in to buy a new laptop and I waited a while to get someone to help me, but once I did, it was fine. Timothy Buchanan was good, knowledgeable and helpful. But he spoke kinda fast like a salesman and didn’t inform me about certain things including explaining that although I didn’t want the My Best Buy Total membership, having 2 bad experiences with no shows home appointments in the past. So he told me he was adding a warranty and service for data transfer, and added that into my final cost. But he never told me it was the BB Total membership! Also, he also didn’t tell me the docking station I got did not have a power adapter. I had to buy that separately on line and for a much cheaper price than listed on the Best Buy website. And finally, he gave me his card and said to call him anytime which was nice. But when I called him the next day to go over these things, he was not available so I left a message for him to call me. That was 4 days ago!
