I don’t typically shop at Best Buy, but I did a trade in to upgrade my daughter’s phone. It was a horrible and frustrating experience. First it took several return trips to complete the initial transaction and those trips would last hours. Then, I was given a promotional deal and was guaranteed a price of $60 a month. We hadn’t even made it through the first month before we got a bill for $130 dollars. I immediately reached out and was told to pay the 60 and that the problem would be fixed once Verizon received my trade in. Second month and the bill was the same plus I had late fees. Tried for a month to go into the store and get the issue resolved, but nobody was able to help me, they said I had to wait to speak to Lucero, the person who gave me the promotional deal. Spent a month going back and forth with Verizon and Lucero was gone for a month. She finally came back, but when I spoke to her, she acted like she didn’t know what was going on and she and her manager treated me like I was a hostile customer because I was frustrated by the entire situation (watch out for the angry black woman). Now, I am having to pay the extra price each month to keep the phone on until I get approved for the promotional deal again which they said may take awhile. My budget does not allow for this kind of monthly phone fee, so obviously I’m upset. Horrible experience! My second experience. I had purchased a washer and dryer around the same time I bought the phone. It was supposed to be delivered at the end of March, it now won’t be delivered until the end of April. Horrible experience, horrible customer service, horrible store. Will not shop here again.

Jace was not only kind, he was extremely knowledgeable and able to inform me at my level. I came in to buy a power cord for my work computer and ended up with a new laptop and keyboard. I had mentioned some current issues I have had and he helped me understand why I have been having issues from the start with a brand new laptop. The processor is low quality. He helped me find the perfect laptop for my needs and I hope he gets a raise since he does not earn commissions.
