The buying experience was terrible. First... the salespeople lack TV and audio knowledge. Some days there is no on in the department, or new employees who have no idea and sell based on a commision only program. You get sold unless you're an educated consumer. Second, I bought a 65" TV, Sonos ARC and Sub and Geek to install. No notifications never showed. I had to return the Sono's and cancel the order since I was heading out to travel and they have a 14 day return policy unless you buy into a club. Came back reordered, and was instead sold on the idea of using my Klipsh existing 5 channel surround. Sold me a new low end denon receiver only to find out upon delivery the receiver won't power the speakers properly. Fortunetly, the Geek guys were awesome and had a Sono's Beam and sub in the van which I bought and simlified my TV experience (which was the plan in the beginning). So kudos to the Geek Squad. They get 10's. BestBuy sales... get a 1. They couldn't get scheduling right, they sold without knowledge. Just a piss poor experience. I had to return the receiver and the mount as Geek just used existing mount and told me the new one was unnecasary.
Super unhelpful and uninterested in helping me out with putting a screen protector on my phone. The guy in the front looked like he didn’t want to be there and said no one is available to do it for 4 hours from when I asked. I said “no one can just put a screen protector on my phone?” (2 minute job) and he said “No.” so I walked out. Good thing I wasted my time coming here for some unhelpful retail store workers.
Gotta love Best Buy. Lots of fun tech and gadgets!
