If you want the absolute worst phone-buying experience of your life, go to BestBuy. On the 19th, my husband and I went there to purchase the new iPhone 17, and that’s where the nightmare started. The staff messed up the carrier transfer, so we had to contact the carrier directly, only to find out that BestBuy never completed the transaction properly and we could have lost our phone numbers. After that, both of the phones we bought stopped working. When we tried calling BestBuy and our carrier, we discovered that the phones we were sold were either locked or defective and couldn’t even support eSIM cards. Going back to the store didn’t help either—BestBuy kept sending us to the carrier, and the carrier kept sending us back to the store. Nobody could fix the problem. The next day, I spent almost 6 hours sitting in the store just trying to return the phone, and in the end, we couldn’t even process an exchange. So if you want to waste hours of your life, end up with nothing, and have the most frustrating customer experience ever, BestBuy is the place to buy your phone.

Came in right before close on a Saturday night. Was told at the door that mobile was closed and there would be nobody to help me. For the past 6-7 years I’ve purchased ZAGG screen protectors and had Best Buy employees assist. Danvers is home to one of the best mobile teams out there. I was sad I couldn’t have it placed so I decided to get DBrands Idiot proof protector. I was telling Nick .L at the front when he said grab a ZAGG I’ll put it on for you. I was escorted over to mobile where Nick and Mohamed helped me. Genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve had at this establishment. Nick .L was extremely knowledgeable about the different IPhone models and was very pleasant to chat with while he installed the screen. While I wasn’t interested in purchasing total tech or opening a credit line both employees were extremely knowledgeable in all the benefits that I could be providing. I will highly consider coming in and getting total tech or opening a credit line the next time I’m in store and I hope to see Nick and Mohamed! Thanks again!
