Best Buy has a nice atmosphere and the store looks great, but the biggest issue is the amount of missing merchandise. There are a lot of empty shelves, and it feels like they’re either having ordering problems or management isn’t keeping up with stock. It was disappointing because I came in looking for specific items that they didn’t have. I also noticed there wasn’t much management presence on the floor, which makes it seem like the issue isn’t being addressed. Overall, you can shop here, but chances are they won’t have what you’re looking for. If you need something specific, I recommend ordering online instead.
I found the two guys at the phone counter to be really competitive and unhelpful. I got approached when browsing, but when I discussed options about an unlocked phone the guy who was with ATT instantly pushed me off him saying he only deals with contracts. As a sales person, he could have tried to at least tell me what specials ATT had. He told me to speak with another guy who gave me no eye contact, told me he only deals with Samsung phones and told me to ask him questions if I wanted a Samsung and walked away. I was the only person browsing that section, trying to make a decision about what phone to get and both of them pushed me away like a bad smell. I ended up leaving. The saving grace was the helpful blue shirt in the computer section who showed me monitors with details and a really helpful attitude. I ended up getting an Acer monitor and I'll probably head to my local Verizon store for a phone.
