Chat agent was good, policy is bad… needed geek squad to bring new microwave due to back problems instead of having it shipped since I have no way to get it inside my home - can’t lift more than 5#, yet management said can’t do it, even they are coming with a truck to install it and haul away old one!! And I’ve been a Best Buy member for years… don’t know what to do now.

Went in for earbuds. Told the salesman that I didn’t know anything about them and that I needed help. He asked me if I wanted noise canceling. I asked him what was that. He told me. Then he walked away so I followed him. He handed them to someone else to ring up and disappeared. That was the extent of my help. I had more questions but he was gone. I have to go back today to try and get help on how to use them.

I went to the Best Buy on State Road seven near Mission Bay and this employee called victor got really mad at me for not wanting to sign up for their credit card and then he had the audacity to just get up and And leave to the next person I was waiting and tried to sell them on a credit card and they said yes on the credit card so he just forgot about me. It seems more like a scam with this guy victor I had another friend go and say notice his credit card he got mad at them again. I don’t know if he had commission for the credit cards or something, but that is very disrespectful and that’s not how you should treat a customer with attitude and getting mad for them not wanting to sign up on a credit card I really hope the management at Best Buy takes care of this because that is really not equal and fair for the customer experience people people who do not want to sign up for credit cards. He has no right to be treating people poorly.

The most incompetent team of people you’ve ever met. DO NOT waste a penny buying any sort of electronic item from them - especially something that has to be installed. The whole process is incredibly mismanaged, they’ll string you along, make up lies due to their own mistakes, don’t warn you that they outsource a 3rd party outside of geek squad to do installs, etc etc. The list goes on. They happily sold us a 115” tv and were unable to 1) successfully deliver it because they couldn’t find it, didn’t have a big enough truck - oh and they aren’t allowed to bring it up stairs. Without going into too much detail about the amount of hours spent on the phone trying to get all of this rectified - I think it’s important to highlight that men with nasty attitudes (in an unmarked van, wearing shirts for a different company), showed up to hang up an almost 200lb tv in our brand new home. They refused to install other elements from our purchase, and would only ensure the surge protector was working properly if we tipped them… then proceeded to note that the job was completely done so it didn’t get flagged. Come to find out that they didn’t even mount the bracket on the wall all the way - FOR A 115” TV! Our sales person had so many issues with the internal team and management and tried his hardest to rectify things, but they decided to fire him instead of taking accountability for our experience and for at least 10 other people who dealt with the same thing. And guess what? We STILL have not heard from one store manager, regional manager or anyone in corporate. We have had to spend so much time and money dealing with their issues. This store shouldn’t even be allowed to be open. It’s a sad excuse for retail- it’s not kept up well or stocked. Team members stand around talking and don’t acknowledge customers. Stay away. Edited - forgot to add that around the same time we also ordered a fridge and that was a whole other issue. They tried scheduling a delivery for an item that wound up being on back order, but we found out at the last minute. Once we got that figured out, another outsourced delivery team brought our fridge which they wound up breaking off a piece off the front. We were told they notified Best Buy and they would be reaching out directly to address. Still no word. Note to corporate - I think it’s time to clear house and fire the entire management team. If you want to keep doors open and not end up like every other big box store, you better step your game up.
