I just had the worst customer experience with absolutely nonexistent customer care from Best Buy.
I ordered a refurbished google pixel 8 pro. I picked up the order from Warwick, RI, to discover they sent me the wrong item. (I ordered an unlocked phone and they sent a locked one, wrong color). I went back to the store taking time off my work and having to rent a car as I'm only visiting, and drive 1 hour each way in traffic. At the store they ordered the phone again and insured me that it would be delivered today, Friday 16th of May, through fast track with UPS, because I leave the country very early on Monday. Today I got an email saying that my ordered is delayed, and it won't get here until Monday, time by which I will be gone.
I called UPS and they said this package was never sent through expedited mail, and they are not delayed. That Monday was always the delivery date, Best Buy just gave me a fake delivery date.
I've called Best Buy multiple times and spoken to around 20 agents to get a solution. No solution, no one cares.
Worst customer experience ever, and won't be buying from them again. Not sure how I'll return the phone.
