The staff at this Best Buy location is exemplary: I walked in this afternoon and was asked by several employees if I needed help finding anything and then two separate employees offered to help me lug the item (a large, portable air conditioner) to the car. One of them was clearly a veteran, which is commendable unto itself, but he was beyond polite and helpful. This sort of customer experience is why I buy from Best Buy and why I go to its stores.
My son bought a PC online and I took him to pick it up. Despite emails saying his machine was ready, the salesman said it would have to come from another store. Long story short, my son was told to cancel his purchase, then reorder it. Voila! Now they HAD the PC. Why? Because unless he reordered, the salesman would get no commission? Whatever the reason, this happened. Total BS.
