Very frustrated. Bought a new fridge from Best Buy, on top of delivery paid an additional $50 for them to move my existing fridge to the garage. Delivery person comes to the house and first says they have no orders to remove the old fridge, then claim they cannot remove the doors from the old fridge to fit it through the doorway to take to the garage, and also claimed that the type of water connection we have is not the best and risks leaking, so he won’t connect the water. If I wanted the fridge moved, I’d have to remove the fridge doors myself, FINE, I’ll do it, but they claim they cannot wait for me to do it, I would have had to have this done before they arrive… BTW, I got 5 minutes of warning before they came, which was early and outside the promised window, so my wife and I scrambled to empty the fridge. So when you don’t stick to your delivery window, how the hell am I supposed to know when to detach the doors? I took off work for this delivery, and in the end had to reject the entire delivery and they are asking me to reschedule. Honestly, I’m just going to return the whole purchase and go to Home Depot for all my appliances in the future. What a way to fail Best Buy. Edit: raised my review from 1 star to 3. Had a new delivery team come, this time since I knew what was expected, I had removed the doors and the delivery went smooth with no issues. The problem is NOT the delivery team, the problem was Best Buy not properly communicating what needed to be done for a fridge relocation.
