I bought a tcl 65 inch tv and purchased an extended warranty in November 2024. It started having problems within a week. With thanksgiving and Christmas I just thought I would wait. Wrong answer waited just over the 30 day mark and Best Buy said that I could not return the tv, not only that but because it was under a year old I would have to go through the manufacture TCL, even though I bought the extended warranty. They stated that the extended warranty started after the one-year warranty of the manufacturer. So I contacted TCL and that was in January and here we are in March and after many conversations with TCL they sent out A repair person that replaced parts. Lo and behold that was on Tuesday, March 18 after the repair person left. The TV began doing the same thing. I contacted the repair person and they said, unplug it and plug it back in which I did and it’s still continued to do the same thing so the repair person wrote on the ticket that it was still having problems. I called Best Buy, hoping that they would have an answer and that they would help out being that I bought the TV there and that I bought the extended warranty. No they said I have to go through the manufacturer so between TCL and Best Buy. I will no longer purchase a TCL nor shop at Best Buy. I shopped Best Buy in Jefferson City because of the manager there and even drove to Columbia because he went there. That was years ago and he’s now become like a regional manager or district manager Now I do not get the same customer service that I once did. I am sorry, Best Buy but I will never buy from Best Buy again. You do have great prices, but some of the products are inferior and frankly not worth my time thank you

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE TO BE REPAIRED HERE!!!! My teenager went in to get his phone fixed, they took $380 from his debit card had him return some days later to "fix" the phone. He brought it home and it was still not working. His father and I took it back to the store where they said it could be a "carrier" problem. We contacted AT&T. It was a carrier problem and they sent us a new phone. However Best Buy REFUSES to give our son his money back because their "parts" were in his phone, even though it was not fixed. In short term, they rob you and NOT care. My kid is out $380. Terrible!!!!!

Best Buy was great! However, 2 days later. I got an email from the "Geek Squad" about a 480.00 service plan? I did not sign up for this. I called Best Buy customer service, and they said to NOT call the phone number on the email because it was fraudulent. Phone numbers are how they access your banking information. I don't know how those crooks knew I purchased at Best Buy, but I hope they find out and improve their customers' security.
