I ordered an item through Best Buy’s website for delivery to my local store. I received an email saying the item was out for delivery, but about 30 minutes later, I got another email stating that it had been returned to the store. Since then, I’ve received three different explanations from Best Buy about why the order was returned, none of which were consistent. It’s now been three days, and the order status still shows “out for delivery,” which is clearly inaccurate. To make matters worse, I was told the item was returned to a different Best Buy location, and there is no estimated timeline for my refund. I even offered to pick up the item myself, but that option was denied. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with their order system. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend going into the store instead of ordering online if you have the option.

I really wish the help at the Columbia, MO Best Buy were consistent. We are HUGE Best Buy shoppers because of our Best Buy Total membership. Had terrific service with a TV mixup a few weeks ago where the manager on duty worked hard to make things right. TODAY--sent my son and husband on an errand to buy my iPad mini since it was on sale. Both of them came home complaining of the AWFUL service. Said several employees were milling around not helping followed by a manager who passed them off to a "specialist" who was blatantly rude and abrupt. It is darn tough to keep going back when things like this happen. My husband is saying the drive to KC or STL to other Best Buys may be his preference from now on.
