I went in to buy a PlayStation, even though I’m not very familiar with gaming. Fendy was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and he made the whole process easy. He took the time to help me choose the right one for my brother, which I really appreciated. Great experience overall!
I genuinely had one of the most uncomfortable shopping experiences I’ve ever had at Best Buy today.
I totally understand being asked once if I need help — that’s normal. But the constant hovering and pushy cell phone sales pitches in the middle of the store felt excessive. It honestly gave off sketchy used-car-lot energy. If employees are being trained to keep talking at customers after they’ve clearly said they’re not interested, that’s a management problem.
The whole atmosphere just felt weird. There were more employees than customers, and they made sure you were very aware of it.
I already knew exactly what I needed — I just didn’t want to wait for delivery, so I stopped into the store. Apparently that was a mistake. I can confidently say next time I’ll just wait for shipping rather than deal with that again.
